For this meal, you should start by roasting the peppers and then simmer in heavy cream mixed with salt and pepper. It is a hearty, comforting, and filling meal. You usually pair it with bread, where you would dip the bread in the sauce and eat the pepper! Bonus points if the bread is hot!
4. Ajvar Spread with Cheese
To first begin this simple breakfast, you would need ajvar spread, which if you are not from the Balkans, you most likely wouldn't have in your fridge. It is a spread that you make from red peppers, eggplant, garlic, oil, and vinegar. You can use it as a spread or a dip, based on your preferences!
This is a filling, simple, and easy, breakfast that required no cooking. It is a great option if you run out of ideas and can quickly grab the ajvar spread and cheese. Cheeses like feta and triangle cheese are great options for this meal!
